The Gene Ontology (GO) Consortium provides a widely used controlled vocabulary for describing biological process, molecular function, and cellular compartment of gene products. This browser allows you to find the GO ID for a particular GO term, to find the GO term that most closely matches a term of interest, or to find the term associated with a particular GO ID. These ids or terms can then be used for text searches.
